From the Santa Barbara Area take Highway 154 over San Marcos Pass 17 miles north of the city. One quarter mile before the entrance to Lake Cachuma Recreation Area there is a left turn lane and a sign for Camp Whittier. Turn left and follow the signs. From the Los Angeles Area take the 101 (Ventura Freeway) north to the Highway 154 exit in Santa Barbara. Seventeen miles outside of Santa Barbara and 1/4 mile before the Lake Cachuma Recreation Area entrance is Camp Whittier. Look for the left turn lane and follow the signs. From Santa Maria Area take 101 South. Exit to Solvang and through Santa Ynez to Highway 154 toward Lake Cachuma. One quarter mile past the entrance to Lake Cachuma Recreation Area entrance turn right and follow the signs. Approximate distance 45 miles south of Santa Maria. |
